Made in Czech Republic, based on the following story:
Beauty filters & Social media likes affect many young women’s perceptions ofbeauty and body image.
By understanding why many young women use thesebeauty filters it can help and encourage companies to create reliable resourcesand campaigns that encourage natural beauty and self-love for women all aroundthe world.
We live in a society that has high beauty standards that are hard for women tofulfill, and going on social media should not make them feel worse about theirappearance.
Spreading awareness about self-love, confidence, and natural beauty onthese social media platforms is one way we can help young women all around the worldand generations to come to love themselves, and not let society or any beautyimages/filters on social media tell them that they are not beautiful enough. With the rightresources we can help the younger generation find beauty within themselves and notthese beauty filters.
My hope is with more resources and campaigns (such as the Dovecampaigns) we can educate others about beauty filters, Snapchat dysmorphia, andother social media content that affect young women’s perceptions of beauty. We needto teach the upcoming generations that society’s standard of beauty does not definewho they are.
